An Inclusive Elementary School

We select students based on indicators of their future potential. We seek intellectual curiosity, perseverance in the face of adversity, and creativity in all of our students.

We believe in presuming competence in all students - and specifically those with physical disabilities whose school districts may be uncertain of their abilities.

Prospective students must be cognitively age appropriate. We are unable to accept students with severe behavioral or medical issues.

Our Simple Screening Process for Admission to UP Academy

We take diligent care to ensure that each student admitted to UP Academy is a great fit and will thrive within our curriculum and community.

While who gets admitted is carefully decided based on each individual child, our application process is designed to be simple, streamlined, and educational - with enough detail for us to evaluate each student, and for each student and each family to evaluate us.
